I Am So Sorry Challenge Card

Here's my latest challenge work, an I'm Sorry card.

On this I ussed my Cricut, of course, and cut the cloud from Serenade <cloud2> at 2 inches then chalked it. Then the sentiment is cut at 2 1/2 inches from Beyond Birthdays <iamsorry>. I added a faux bow and some gems and voila! there's my "I'm Sorry" card!

MTTC Challenge - Spots & Dots

My Time To Craft Challenge posted a new challenge Tuesday and I'm just getting to it. We had a snow day and I was busy with the kids so I didn't have as much time as I thought I would before last night. But I got it done!

Here's my entry:

I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for this slice of pie (piepiece) at 3 1/2 inches. The papers are from Imaginisce and Fancy Pants and the sentiment is printed from my computer using the font CK Tipsy at 36 for "Hi" and 28 for "Sweetie Pie."

Thanks for looking!

My First "Challenge" (or whatever you call it)

Okay, so this week Bitten By the Bug 2 had a challenge to use either the bird or the armadillo from Birthday Bash. Well, I decided to participate and this is what I came up with :)

Here's what I did:

I cut the bird from Birthday Bash, of course, at 3 1/2 inches. The jumbled "birthday" and the text "happy" are both from Simply Sweet. The jumble is "birthday" cut at 2 3/4" and happy was cut at 1".

The gems on her (I was informed by my daughter that this is a girl bird because boys do NOT wear high heels) hat are MAMBI, her bow is Martha Stewart and the card is just a 5x6.5" card. The paper is from a stack by SEI.

I had a lot of fun and hope I can do another challenge soon!

My First Posted Card

Here it is: My first card on the new blog. A valentine's card, of course.

Okay, so here's how I did it:

The card is from Slumber Party (card1) and so is the border (card1-s) both at 5 inches. The flowers are all from Serenade (flowr2, flowr4 & flowr5 and their -s, respectively) but instead of using their layers also I added gems on the top instead of that last layer. It was really rather simple, just a bit of cutting time. I also went around the edge of the lightest pink flower with my Cadmium Red Copic, just to give it some contrast against the light pink background.

Other supplies were: Sentiment is a stamp from The Paper Company, gems are from Doodlebug, ribbon is American Crafts and paper is Bazzil (including swiss dots for the border), Fancy Pants and Heidi Grace.
